ca 1869 hardcover as pictured. A handsome small edition, this copy has seen some use but remains very readable. Binding is intact. Embossed tan cloth boards with black and gold stamping and a paste on illustration are rubbed and scuffed with fraying at edges and bumped corners. Small tear in cover paste on. Writing on endpapers, small hole in FFEP. Both hinges partially cracked. Gilt edge of text block. Text is tanned with mottling throughout but appears otherwise unmarked. No dust jacket.
