New York: The Heritage Press, 1954. Hardcover. Very Good +. Pierre Brissaud. This is a new english version by Louis Untermeyer published in 1954. It is richly illustrated with color illustrations by Pierre Brissaud. The book is attractively bound with a black, gold and red feather-like pattern on the cover and gold colored lettering on the spine. The book is protected with a plain slip cover case. A previous owners name is inscribed on the inside of the front cover and there is an imnpression left by a paper clip on the front end paper. The binding is tight and the pages are clean and without tears, chips or creases. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
