A cyclist's look at the world of 1898, places he has visited, hotels and their attitudes towards cyclists, people met along the way. 321 pages plus 6 pages of old advertisements, many old photographs of places and people a great historical glimpse at cycling from a bygone age. Card cover book has been preserved on the outer covers with layers of clear tape and strips of brown card, spine has gone. Pages are clean and bright just a few occasional light marks. Book has been loosly laid in a homemade thick paper covered card outer wrapper. Post card loose in back hand wriitten and SIGNED BY A W RUMNEY.
