Dark blue morocco spine and corners, with gilt ruled borders.Five raised bands on the spine, gilt title lettering, and date, with sporting emblems decorating four compartments.Top edge gilt.Ochre cloth boards, and marbled endpapers.xiii[ix],495 pages. With numerous illustrations by Viscount Bury and Joseph Pennell. 5.5 X 7.5 inches.There are some very few scuffs and rubbing to the leather here and there. Browning to fore edge, and some spotting to first and final pages with offsetting to endpapers. Original owner's ex libris leather gilt lettered label on the front pastedown.Very good copy, pages mostly very clean throughout, with a very sound and solid binding.. Third Edition Revised. Half-Leather. Very Good/No Jacket.
