About This Item
Boston: Houghton Mifflin Co., 1966 Yellow cloth boards with red text. A few smudges and dirt but over all in good condition. No broken cloth, No dust jacket.<p>
The inscription was ripped out at some point and taped back in.
The inscription sayes To our friend and neighbor Hope from
Margaret and Hans June 12, 1974. A large original drawing of George holding a bouquet of flowers with a get well soon tag in color. Stated seventh printing. You can see the drawing bleeding through the print side of the end paper<p>
With several hours of research on line, the inscription is by Hans.
If you look at all other inscriptions and signatures by both Margaret
and Hans, their r's is written differently and this is his. Also, he almost always signed inscriptions as HaRey and never Hans, making this rarer. The illustration is realy cute as well.<p>
