Cult and Occult by Brookesmith, Peter Ed - 1985: The Unexplained File

A rare beautiful copy of this classic modern overview of all things occult. This is the Guild Publishing first of 1985 and is NF/NF. Compiled by some the great names in the field at the time including Lynn Picknett, J. Allen Hynek, Brian Inglis, Colin Wilson and Brian Innes. The book covers a huge range of fascinating topics in well written detailed, accompanied with numerous sumptuous illustrations. Chapters include: secrets of the zodiac; occult design; ritual magic; the alchemist's art; witchcraft; nazi occultism; Aleister Crowley, and many more. This is by far the best condition of this edition of the book we have seen. Pages are bright and clear, with no markings, no inscriptions, no foxing and no tanning at all. NOT ex-library. DJ is unclipped, the slightest of rubbing here and there but no losses and is powerfully bright and colourful. It has clearly been looked after well down the years.
