ASSOCIATION copy: Inscribed to Louis Untermeyer. Untermeyer was an American poet, anthologist, critic, and editor. More specifically is one of six people named by Sinclair in gratitude for their edits for the current volume. Gifted to Untermeyer, this books contain several editorial marks by Untermeyer for a presumed revised edition, or possibly made simply out of editorial idiosyncratic impulses.
