Frontis plate and other ilustrations, 8 maps. Octavo. Gift inscription to another medievalist by Burns on the half title. Very handsome dark burgundy cloth hardcovers with gilt to front covers and spines. Minimal wear to covers. Interiors are clean and unmarked, however, in Vol. II there are 3 pages with storage corner turn down and the 2 preceeding pages have a short clean tear at the top edge. Priced low to reflect condition, but otherwise very nice with a pleasing provenance. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 561 pages; Signed by Author .
