Frontispiece and extra illustrated title page, and two inserted plates. Issued as the third volume in the Helping Hand Series. Some wear to spine ends, clear tape repair to inner front hinge, and glue repairs to both inner hinges, a clean very good copy in general. The frontispiece and two inserted plates are by Thomas Nast; one is of Neptune, God of the Sea, another of a monkey swinging a cat by its tail!
