His adaptations include works by Clive Barker, Richard Matheson and Harlan Ellison. He came to prominence in more recent years with the successful movie option and subsequent media attention and critical acclaim of "30 Days of Night" an original vampire comic, with art by Ben Templesmith, published by IDW Publishing.
