Crime Scene Conspiracy by Jessica R. Patch is the debut of Texas Crime Scene Cleaners. I enjoyed meeting Texas Ranger Emily O'Connell and crime scene cleaner, Stone Spencer. We also get to meet Stone's brothers who work with him as well as his mother. Emily is strong and smart. She is also determined to get answers. Stone has the same qualities as well as loyalty to his family. You can feel the chemistry between the pair. The mystery is complex and suspenseful. I enjoyed all the action that kept things lively. Stone and his brothers have talents as well as connections that can help Emily solve the case. They will need to work quickly if they are going to stay a step ahead of the bad guys. Someone is determined to eliminate Emily and soon Stone is included. You wonder who the killer target will next. There are plenty of twists and turns. The case keeps you guessing. Crime Scene Conspiracy will have you staying up late to discover who is behind the killings. I am eager for the next book in the Texas Crime Scene Cleaners series. Crime Scene Conspiracy is brisk paced story with mysterious demises, gubernatorial person of interest, a flaming fire, obliging brothers, trust issues, a slew of suspects, a rare attraction, and a stubborn killer.
