Foreword by Rupert Murdoch, introduction by Norman Lipson & Tony Barnao, and acknowledgements. The text is illustrated with two inserts, of 16 pages each, of black-and-white photography or reproductions of documents. Photographic paperback binding with black, red and white coloured titles to the front panel and black and red coloured titles to the back strip. For over 40 years the author was one of the foremost crime reporters. He had a knack of finding major stories, including  the Bogel/Chandler mystery, the kidnapping of Graham Thorpe and the wander the beach murders. Here are his memoirs of that life and sheds some light on some of Australia's most curious and unsolved crimes. A little creasing to the book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels.
