Toront, 1871. v,[1],408pp. plus [1]p. of ads. Frontis. Original gilt cloth. Boards rubbed, spine faded, fron hinge cracked. Light tanning, otherwise internally clean. Nearly very good. A series of letters written pseudonymously by Begg to the Toronto GLOBE in which he voices his sympathy for the participants in the Rebellion and lists their grievances. "A valuable history of the rebellion based on a diary in which the author recorded the occurrences and the movement of local opinion from day to day" - Peel. PEEL 319. GAGNON I:241.
