Description:
Chasing Rainbows is a 1930 American Pre-Code romantic musical film directed by Charles Reisner, starring Bessie Love and Charles King, and released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The supporting cast features Jack Benny, Marie Dressler, and Polly Moran. This was Jack Benny's first dramatic role in a motion picture. It was filmed in black and white, but had two Technicolor sequences, which were lost in the 1965 MGM vault fire. The rest of the movie survives and is on DVD in the Warner Archive Collection.
The movie introduced the song Happy Days Are Here Again, by Jack Yellen and Milton Ager. This song has been recorded hundreds of times, but its most famous version is by Barbra Streisand, who really laid claim to it.
This is four sheets of music plus covers. There are 3 little tears and a crease; a framer can do a nice job with it though.
Note: I have lots of vintage sheet music listed here, some singly, many in bundles. You're welcome to create your own bundle, or just buy one piece from… Read More
