New York: Funk & Wagnalls, 1967. First Edition. 3rd Printing Fine in brown cloth covered boards with gilt text on the spine. A quarto measuring 11 by 8 inches with a gift inscription in the upper inside corner of the second free end page. In a very good+, unclipped dust jacket with light soiling to the panels and a short closed tear to the upper edge of the spine area. 110 pages of text and black and white sketches helping to round out the stories heard at the local country store in years gone by. Illustrated with line art by the author/artist.
