Creasing and tears to edges of price-clipped dustwrapper, with the top inch at the spine badly crumpled; minor bumping to spine ends and corners of red boards and top inch of spine faded where dustwrapper is torn. Original owner's gift message dated November 1944 on f/ep, otherwise a good tight copy of this small hard-cover book by the author of the "Lone Pine" stories. This is the first of his three "Scrap-Books", this one looking at the English countryside including the Farm, the Village, a lot about Nature, and more. No publication date shown, but was 1944. 127pp,12pp b&w illustrations.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
