Illustrator: Photographic and Illustrations. 1.1 kg.; (6) 7-192 pages, acknowledgements, introduction by editor, glossary, bibliography and index. Maroon coloured endpapers. The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs and illustrations, reproductions of documents and the occasional colour photograph and colour illustration. Brick red coloured cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. Bumping and rubbing to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book edges. Rubbing and marking and faint fading of the cloth covered to the book panels. Light browning to the text block edges and to the internal text. The removal of library pocket can be seen to the lower left-hand corner of the free front end paper and there is a stainer to the top left-hand corner of the same page and to the top right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Library stamp to the lower right-hand corner of the title page and to the occasional internal text. In this book various experts explain about the collectability of books (English) from before 1800 up to the time of writing of the book. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
