Synopsis
The Count of Monte Cristo is an adventure novel by Alexandre Dumas, père. It is often considered to be one of the most popular works from Dumas and his collaborating ghostwriter Auguste Maquet. It tells the tale of a young sailor named Edmond Dantes, who is arrested on his wedding day and falsely accused of treason!
