Paris : Delpech, 1820.. Large 4to. 27 x 36.5 cm. Half morocco with raised bands and marbled paper over boards, slightly rubbed.4 vol., lithographed title in vol.1 only, 380 lithographed plates including additional pictorial title, all but 44 handcolored, lithographed by Delpech after Lecomte, signed by Lecomte in plate, mounted on hinges (onglets) with duplicates of plates 101 (misnumbered 99), 371 & 376, the latter two on different paper and with slightly different colouring (the last foxed), a made-up copy with several plates on different paper and/or smaller sheets, some foxing and browning....OCLC Number: 3648416; Colas, 1807....Princeton University Library: "At the beginning of the 19th-century, François-Séraphin Delpech (1778-1825) ran the most popular lithographic print shop in Paris. Delpech not only made beautiful lithographic prints from his own designs, but printed lithographs after designs by other artists, and sold these prints in his shop. "
