Illustrated with a portrait photograph frontispiece. The autobiography of English novelist and poet Kenneth Hopkins (1914-88). A very readable and entertaining autobiography man who had many jobs including working in the second-hand book trade and teaching at the University of Texas at Austin. Light spotting to top-edge; age-tanning to endpapers; d/w spine sunned; d/w has edge wear with small losses; else a very good copy, in a good d/w, of a SCARCE first edition PRESENTATION COPY FROM THE AUTHOR. D/w now protected in a detachable, non-adhesive, clear sheaf.. Presentation Copy From The Author. First Edition. Hardback. Very Good/Good.
