The grid is based on electric logs, seismic record sections, and paleontological data. Twenty-six stratigraphic horizons are identified and regionally correlated. The total data base for this effort includes well logs for over 1,500 wells, paleontological reports for over 1,000 wells, and over 12,000 line miles of seismic data. From this data base, 247 well data summaries, 183 paleontological reports, 142 time-depth surveys, and 2,000 line miles of seismic data are included in this publication."
