SIGNED AND DATED BY "THE DEAN OF AMERICAN COMPOSERS"<br /> <br /> Stated "First Edition" on the copyright page. Original price of $3.95 intact on front flap. Signed and dated (Nov. 1960) directly on the FFEP by Aaron Copland. Signed to fellow pianist Herman Ostheimer (1879-1963). Ostheimer was a pupil of the great Theodor Leschetizky and taught piano for much of his career. Several of his recordings have been located and are easily found online. Hint of wear to the red topstain. A very attractive copy.
