Magazine. pp. 42-60 pp., 7x9.5 inches, shelf wear and even toning of beige pages, cover very soiled with stains and blotches along and near spine, else in good condition. Controversy was an 'official' ILP discussion journal from the mid-1930s which carried a range of socialist opinion, debates and polemics including both Trotskyist and Stalinist views. This issue covers "August Thalheimer", "Which Way is Spain Going?", and much more.
