Washington, DC: United States Government Printing Office, 1930. 1st Edition . Soft cover. Good+/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Diagrams. G+/none, used pb, 183pp. Gray-green colored stiff paper wraps with black colored text on upper and hand-printed ink text on wrinkled spine; edge wear with small dings and several paper slashes on upper that also go through the first three pages. Interior pages clean, unmarked. The text contains two articles called "A Sketch of the Buffalo Dance of the Bear Gens of the Fox Indians" and "Notes on the Great Sacred Pack of the Thunder Gens of the Fox Indians" with diagrams for each. On each left side page is the Fox syllabary and on the right is English. The pages are clean, unmarked and the binding is tight.
