Catalogue from the exhibition held at 10 British museums and galleries between March 1978 and March 1979, with possible additional showings determined after publication of the catalogue. With an introduction by Stephen Bann and works by the following artists: Gillian Wise Ciobotaru, Norman Dilworth, John Ernest, Anthony Hill, Malcolm Hughes, Michael Kidner, Tony Longson, Peter Lowe, Kenneth Martin, Terry Pope, Keith Richardson-Jones, Jean Spencer, Jeffrey Steele, Susan Tebby, and Chris Watts. Each artist is represented by a portrait photo, image of a work of art, brief bio, personal comment, and perhaps additional information.
