Paris: Paris Illustré, 1885. A steel engraving illustrating the descent of the world's first hydrogen balloon in Gonesse (Val-d'Oise). This appeared in a special edition of Paris illustré in 1885. Hand coloured. Framed in brown and gilt passe partout (unglazed). Plate dimensions 95 by 140 mm (3¾ x 5½ inches). Mount dimensions 220 x 255 mm (8¾ x 10 inches). The illustration is in excellent condition, with fine colouring. No damage to the illustration, or the frame. Une gravure sur acier illustrant la descente du premier ballon à hydrogène au monde à Gonesse (Val-d'Oise). Cela a paru dans une édition spéciale de Paris illustré en 1885. Colorié à la main. Encadré dans un passe partout marron et doré (non émaillé). Dimensions de la plaque 95 par 140 mm (3¾ x 5½ pouces). Dimensions du support 220 x 255 mm (8¾ x 10 pouces). L'illustration est en excellent état, avec une belle coloration. Aucun dommage à l'illustration ou au cadre.
