Bishop, Head Quarters [sic], North Madison [CT], August 31, 1843, "muster for inspection, review and exercise at the Hotel of George Cook in Wallingford [CT]…5th day of October…[officers] to appear in complete uniform with side arms…Each solider must be dressed in a neat and handsome uniform…", etc., and (2) 4th Company of 10 regiment by Captain Rufis Pierpont, North Haven [CT], Sept. 4, 1843, "non commisioned officers…warn all members of said co[mpany] to appear near the Hotel of George Cook in Wallingford [CT]…to be precisely [underlined] armed, equipped and in uniform…", etc.; authenticated by seller with lifetime guarantee /// CONDITION: well-preserved, all text legible, light age-toning as normal.
