NY: Rinehart & Company; (1947). First Edition . Hardcover. Dust Jacket Included. A title in the Rivers of America series, edited by Hervey Allen and Carl Carmer. Very good in a very good dust jacket. Front hinge is a little separated in two places, but the book is relatively tight. Small label ghost on front endpaper. The price clipped jacket is sunned on the spine, and has slight loss and some rubbing at edges and spine ends. Includes illustrations by Douglas W. Gorsline, bibliography, and an index; 310 pages. Signed by the author on the front endpaper.
