[New York]: Printed by Francis Childs and John Swain, 1790. Small folio broadside. Dbd. Small contemporary numerical inscription. Light foxing, else near fine. "Approved, March 26th, 1790." Congressional printing of an act passed by the second session of the First Congress, the last session to be held in New York. The law provides for payment of up to $500 for the services of clerks in the army accounts commission, "in the same manner and at the same rate as the salary allowed to the clerks in the department of treasury." Signed in print by Speaker of the House Frederick Augustus Muhlenberg, John Adams, and George Washington.
