Henry James was an Anglo-American writer who spent the bulk of his career in Britain. He is regarded as one of the key figures of 19th-century literary realism. In a cloth binding. Externally, sound with some rubbing, bumping and marks to boards. Front hinge strained with endpaper detached but absent. Internally, pages age toned but still generally bright and clean. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
