Londres (paris): Les Libraires Associes. Good with no dust jacket. 1765. First Edition. Hardcover. 48 pp. Small octavo. In a more modern chipboard binding with faux leather spine, handwritten label misidentifying the date as 1760. Title page has lovely little engraved rose heart, handwritten pencil "par Colle" Paper a bit browned but otherwise clean and unmarked. A very scarce little ort attributed to the well-known French dramatist and songwriter Charles Colle' (1709-1783). He was known for his frankness, jollity and sometimes licentiousness and he composed numerous plays for the Duke of Orleans. Hard to find in the original, this is NOT the 1800s reprint. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 48 pages .
