Signed and inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper: "To Christopher Carson, with all good wishes, from Erich Leinsdorf." Carson was the double bassist for the St. Louis Sympony Orchestra. NEAR FINE in Near Fine dust jacket. The book itself shows a hint of shelf rubbing, else Fine/As New. The dust jacket shows marginal shelf rubbing of the extremities, else Fine/As New. As pictured.
