Reading Copy. 1/2 leather freckled burgundy boards with raised spine bands, gilt page edges, gilt front device, spine lettering and decorative gilt compartments. Leather corners and spine heavily rubbed. Heavy edgewear. Paged age toned. Front hinge broken with backstrip detached from textblock. Slight dampstaining to the upper fore-edge of pages ii-vii and to the page edges of last several pages. 2.5" vertical tear to the gutter of page opposite 114. In polypropylene bag.
