New York, NY: Harper & Brothers, 1835 Complete works of Hannah More in two volumes. Description applies to both volumes: Three quarter dark brown leather with marbled boards. Gilgt spine lettering and spine design intact and bright. Heavy wear on covers, edges and corners. Small crack at top of front hinge on both volumes, but all boards still strongly attached. Binding is strong. 1 inch square chip at top of spine on vol. I. Both volumes have heavy foxing on blank end papers, but interior content only lightly and sporadically foxed. Period owner's names inside. Vol. I, 562 pages, Vol. II 587 pages. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
