Beautiful full page engravings including hand-tinted frontispieces to each volume, illustrated with photogravures by Frederick Simpson Coburn. Very good-plus in publisher's original tan cloth. No jackets, as issued. Content near fine, clean and bright, with occasional creasing and light foxing. Edited and chronologically arranged on the basis of the standard text. Octavo. Approx. 3000 pages total. A beautiful, scarce set.
