Koln: Taschen, 1995. 1st Edition Thus. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Pictorial paper boards. Various pagination. Some rubbing to extremities, very slight bumps to spine ends. In original card slipcase, moderately worn to extremities, rubbed to sides. John Willie's Bizarre was published from 1948 to 1959 at irregular intervals. Volume I originally appeared in 1954, but in this reprint it has been placed in front of the subsequent volumes. This volume reassembles the entire library of the magazines (26 issues) into over 1400 pages of fetish fashion.

Illustrated with drawings and photographs throughout. A complete reprint of the fetish magazine Bizarre, which was published, at irregular intervals, from 1946 to 1959. With volume one containing issues one to thirteen and volume two containing issues fourteen to twenty-six. The magazine included many photographs, often of Willie's wife, and drawings of costume designs. There were also many letters from readers which covered topics such as high heels, bondage, amputee fetishism, sadomasochism, transvestism, corsets, and body modification.
