Good. spine sunned, edge wear, a bit loose at the advertisment page but otherwise tight, various incidences of offsetting due to items being placed in the book by a later owner. First printing of the Rennie edition, no others noted. In the original publisher's plain cloth binding with paper spine label: "WALTON and COTTON ANGLER edited by Prof. RENNIE illustrated" Simple name only bookplate of Thomas Besant. The 4 plates called for present. Scarce in this state, the WorldCat locates 15 copies in the US. Four copies appear online for sale of this edition, none in the original binding. Most items ship with tracking numbers and (generally over $15.00) jacket protectors if applicable. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.
