About This Item
Boston, MA.: Houghton Mifflin Company. Very Good. 1957. First Edition; First Printing. Hardback in dust jacket. This book is hard-bound in blue paper covered boards with a gray cloth spine with red stamping, in a nice dust jacket with faint soiling/toning. The covers show light edge-wear, and light rubbing to the spine-ends. The binding is solid. The contents are bright and clean. This book is Signed by the author Jack Schaefer on the front free end-page. --- From the American First Editions collection of Donald C. Scriven (1948-2019). Don relished points of issue and the primacy of the dust jacket but above all he loved the literature! .
