Each essay has a bibliography immediately following. 138 medieval philosophers are introduced and summarized, everyone including Maimonides, Peter of Auvergne, John of Paris, Gaetano of Thiene, Bernard of Clairvaux, Boethius, Ulrich of Strassburg and pretty much everyone in between.
