Schreiber, a four-page table of contents (which lists only a portion of the works that comprise this set), and an index, dated 1725. Later half roan and stippled cloth, lightly rubbed at the extremities; a very crisp and bright copy. 'The first important botanical work by a supporter of the doctrine of evolution by natural selection' (Norman, often quoted, but not going nearly far enough in our opinion!).
