An eighteenth printing, completing 103,511 copies. The Coming of Bill was first published in 1920 in the United Kingdom and the novel tells the story of Kirk Winfield, his wife Ruth and their young son Bill. P. G. Wodehouse was an English author and one of the most widely read humourists of the 20th Century. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Two pages of adverts to the rear.  In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some small areas of fading to the head and tail of the spine. Foyles bookshop sticker to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
