About This Item
Kansas City, MO: Universal Press Syndicate, 2000. 1st ed.. Paperback quarto, coloured card folder (loose sheets inserted), very good condition, black & white & colour cartoon sheets, single colour photo, folder little creased & bumped, minimal edgewear. 16 (includes folder) pp. Doonesbury is a syndicated comic strip by American cartoonist Garry Trudeau, first published in 1970 (an early success for Universal Press Syndicate). A Pulitzer prize winner. This coloured card folder portfolio contains: two colour pages of comic strips folded in half (strip one side, blank reverse side), and four pages of black & white cartoons folded in half, eight single pages of comic related blurb, mostly about Doonesbury. These comics were at times controversial because of their political content.
