About This Item
Random House, 1985. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine in Near Fine Dust Jacket. First edition, near fine oversized hardcover shows touch of rubbing to cover edges and bumping to cover corners, small faint stain at fore edge of front end paper and some other light trace wear, in near fine dust jacket (price at flap) that shows just a ligth bit of shelf wear including bit of wrinkling at bottom of front flap and top of front panel. 398 pages very nicely illustrated. Still a nice looking copy of this popualr work on comets from the author of Cosmos and others.
