Paris: Ch. & Cl. Ant. Jombert, 1771. ~Facing Latin/French text. Original mottled tan calf, raised bands, gilt decoration and 2 red gilt labels to each spine. Marbled endpapers and page edges. 1 ribbon per volume. Browning to edges of some prelims pages. Leather split (3 cm) to base of hinges of volume 1, but hinges sound. A little damage to a few page edges of volume 1. Small very old library bookplate to reverse half-title pages. Attractive set.. Hardback. Very Good+. xxiv, 588 + (2), 513 + (2), 488pp. Binding sound, text unmarked.
