This 17th-century French edition of the works of Plautus was collected and translated by Anne Dacier, who was famous for her translations of Greek and Roman literature. · "Amphitryon" – mythology; on Alcmena's seduction by Jupter

· "Rudens" – story of girl being reunited with her father after being kidnapped by pirates

· "Epidicus" – a controversial play revolving around incestuous relationships
