Hardback, 1942, first edition, illustrated, published by J. M. Dent & Sons Limited, London, 267 pages.
Sextodecimo/16mo. Measures 8 3/4" by 5 3/4" by 1". No dust jacket. Green cloth binding, flexible boards, with some scuffing and a little discolouration to spine and board edges and some signs of shelf wear. Corners bumped and quite soft due to flexible nature of boards. Binding a bit slack at spine but reasonably good overall, hinges intact and textblock quite firm. Some browning, scuffing and light foxing to page edges. Some foxing endpapers, the odd mark throughout but page surfaces are generally quite clean, with no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
