About This Item
Chester: Printed by J. Hemingway, 1807. Pamphlet. iv, [9]-60p., disbound pamphlet in 8x5 inch wraps; humorous vitriol in prose ending with several pages of satirical lyrics (one to be sung to a Beggars' Opera tune). The textblock is well-adhered through p.56, with a split-away leaf present in the same condition as the main body. Title page has deep marginal browning, a few minute chips at the corners, scattered verso foxing, and the terminal leaf is somewhat dusty. A good copy. Two comments on collation; an absence of pagination between iv and 9 is also noted by OCLC, but OCLC indicates an addendum of four pages (separately paginated).
