First edition, limited to 530 copies, signed by Masefield and numbered by him 379 on the limitation page, below which Masefield has written the couplet "And often two combine, yet ,lacking one, the light is of the moon, not of the sun. John Masefield" Beige cloth, blue leather label with gilt titles spine, in original plain dustjacket which is has a tanned spine, missing a 1" strip at the head and a sliver of tear in the middle.
