About This Item
Khartoum: The Sudan Printing Press. Good. Photocopy. Looseleaf. Here is an oddity. Included are four photocopies of one book, or rather, an extended offprint from Sudan Notes and Records, Vol. III, No, 3. This comes from the collection of a dedicated numismatist with a specialty in Asian, Near Eastern and Saharan African coins. The article is 33 pages long, with 5 plates. The photocopy is done by a pre-Xerox method, but is quite clear and legible. The pages have Mylar covers, but have not been put in them (and holes have not been punched). The article is not dated, but looks 1900-ish. Why there are four copies I do not know,k but I surmise that the gentleman was teaching a course or giving a seminar. The paper is good quality. This collector was active from 1950-1990. My guess is that these reprints date to the late '60's. Just a guess. .
