About This Item

Robert (Vermeire) of the American Bar, Casino Municipal, Nice and late of the Embassy Club, London - Cocktails: How to Mix Them - London, Herbert Jenkins, ca. 1930 - Eight Large Edition - Hardcover with Dust jacket - 112pp - 16x10cm

Condition Very Good: Dust jacket a bit dirty and some minor damage at corners and edges, first empty pages foxed and name inside. Otherwise the book is in great condition and it shows no signs of use inside; cover bright and looks almost as new, pages clean and unmarked, binding very tight.

Hundreds of thousands know how to drink a cocktail; but few can mix one. That was the inception of this book and Robert is well known as an expert. He gives full instructions as to the mixing of all the well-known cocktails, and not only cocktails, but cobblers, coolers, crustas, egg noggs, fizzes, flips, frappes, highballs, punches, rickeys, slings, smashes, sours and toddies. Above all he tells you how it is possible to give your friends first-class cocktails at home.
